• The Greek told us 2700 years ago, the only constant thing is change.
• Medicine and revolution have one thing in common- immediacy. Here’s the patient. Here’s the country. It’s sick. Deal with it. Make it well. No administration. It’s about fixing something that’s broken or sick- right here, right now. Revolution is grabbing something by the throat and shaking the devil out of it.
• One thing happens when you can read and write. You begin to think for yourself. Because when you begin to think, then you begin to be free. Thinking equals freedom. And a free man is a dangerous man.
• I spent all those bard years in the Sierra Masestras, and in the Congo, and in Bolivia, trying to convince those slaves to throw off their chains. But I had to get “killed” to get the point: The way to get people to throw off their chains is to teach them to read and write. They’ll figure out the way to throw off the chains themselves.

Orz
